Why does software increases the guest stay for one more day automatically when I create a new day. How to remove the extra days that are added automatically.

 

You have to check out all the guests whose stay period expires before creating new day. Failing to do this will increment the guest stay for one more day (if Daily rate type) or depending on the applied rate type. For example, if the guest is checked in under daily rate type on 02/12/2004, he is supposed to check out on 02/13/2004. This means that you need to check out the guest before creating new day 13. To remove the extra day creation change the check out date to one day (according to Rate Type) back from the Check Out Form.So now the balance of that guest will be zero.
